Household small nitrogen generators are miniaturized nitrogen production equipment designed for civilian small-scene needs such as household food fresh-keeping, small instrument protection and daily inert gas use. Compared with industrial large-scale nitrogen generators, household models have the characteristics of small volume, low power consumption and simple operation, but nitrogen production belongs to gas pressure production after all, and there are potential safety hazards such as gas pressure fluctuation, oxygen concentration change and equipment heating during operation. Therefore, standardized operation and strict safety precautions must be followed when using household small nitrogen generators to self-make nitrogen, so as to avoid safety accidents such as personal injury and indoor environmental hazards.
First of all, it is necessary to standardize the installation and use environment of household nitrogen generators. The equipment must be placed in a well-ventilated, flat and dry indoor position, avoiding closed narrow spaces such as cabinets and enclosed corners. Nitrogen is an inert gas that does not support combustion and breathing. A large amount of nitrogen leakage in a closed space will reduce indoor oxygen concentration, easily causing hypoxia, dizziness and even suffocation hazards. It is forbidden to place the equipment near high-temperature heat sources, flammable and explosive items such as gas stoves and alcohol, to prevent equipment overheating failure and gas mixing safety risks. Meanwhile, ensure that the power supply voltage is stable and grounded reliably, avoid plugging and unplugging the power supply during equipment operation, and prevent electric shock accidents and circuit failures.
Secondly, standard operation and daily maintenance are essential safety guarantees. Users must strictly follow the equipment manual to start and shut down the machine, and it is forbidden to disassemble the equipment shell, internal filter elements and gas pipeline components at will, so as to avoid gas leakage and equipment damage. During the operation of the generator, regularly observe the pressure gauge and indicator light, stop the machine immediately for inspection if there is abnormal pressure fluctuation, loud noise or alarm failure, and do not use faulty equipment. After long-term use, replace the filter element regularly to ensure the purity and safety of produced nitrogen. In addition, household self-made nitrogen is only suitable for civilian non-medical and non-industrial scenarios, and it is forbidden to use self-made nitrogen for human breathing, medical treatment and high-pressure industrial experiments to avoid irreversible safety accidents.
Finally, emergency disposal measures must be mastered for potential risks. Once nitrogen leakage is found during use, immediately turn off the equipment power, open doors and windows for ventilation, and leave the indoor space temporarily to wait for air circulation and oxygen concentration recovery. In case of equipment overheating and abnormal failure, do not touch the equipment with hands to prevent scalding, and wait for natural cooling before inspection and maintenance. Do not modify the equipment parameters and internal structure privately to avoid destroying the safety protection mechanism. Standardizing the whole process of use, maintenance and emergency disposal can effectively eliminate the safety hazards of household small nitrogen generators and ensure safe and stable use of self-made nitrogen.
