Jinbao Machinery has delivered a JBD‑A50 modular nitrogen generator to Sunwoda’s lithium‑battery dry room project in Huizhou China. The system consistently delivers nitrogen with a purity exceeding 99.999% at a flow rate of 1,766 SCFH, meeting the stringent dew point and oxygen‑free requirements for battery electrolyte filling and cell drying.

To maximize energy efficiency, Jinbao paired the generator with an INOVANCE permanent magnet VFD compressor. Field tests show that this integrated solution cuts energy consumption by 32% compared to conventional fixed‑speed compressors plus cylinder/bulk nitrogen. Thanks to the modular design, installation was completed in just two days. The system has since operated continuously for over 2,000 hours with zero failures, maintaining oxygen levels below 0.5 ppm – a result highly appreciated by Sunwoda’s production team.

“Lithium‑battery dry rooms are extremely sensitive to moisture and oxygen. Previously we used liquid nitrogen evaporation, which was costly and sometimes suffered from pressure fluctuations. Jinbao’s on‑site generation system has completely freed us from liquid nitrogen tanks. The purity and flow are stable, and our daily electricity cost is less than half of what we spent on liquid nitrogen,” said the equipment manager at Sunwoda.

Jinbao’s technical team conducted a week‑long on‑site commissioning and training session, ensuring that customer operators can independently adjust purity, perform daily inspections, and record data. The system is also IoT‑ready for future remote monitoring upgrades.
