The procurement cost of a 10 cubic meters per hour (10m³/h) industrial nitrogen generator is affected by multiple factors, including technical type, equipment configuration, brand positioning, and functional expansion. As a mainstream small and medium-sized industrial nitrogen production equipment, 10m³/h nitrogen generators are widely used in food packaging, electronic processing, chemical protection, and pharmaceutical production. The overall procurement cost covers the main equipment price, auxiliary supporting facilities, installation and commissioning fees, and preliminary debugging costs, showing obvious differentiation in different technical routes and configuration standards.
At present, industrial nitrogen generators are mainly divided into membrane separation, pressure swing adsorption (PSA), and cryogenic liquefaction types, with distinct procurement cost differences. The membrane separation 10m³/h nitrogen generator has the lowest procurement cost, suitable for scenarios with low purity requirements (95%–99.9%). The domestic standard configuration price is roughly in the range of $3,500 to $5,000, featuring simple structure and low configuration cost. The PSA nitrogen generator, which is the most widely used in industry, has a moderate procurement cost. The conventional model with nitrogen purity of 99.9%–99.99% is priced at $5,000 to $8,000, and the high-purity model above 99.999% needs to be equipped with high-precision filters and purification modules, with the cost rising to $8,000 to $12,000.
Brand and configuration upgrades are important factors affecting the final procurement cost. Domestic mainstream brand equipment has high cost performance, with complete basic functions and stable quality, suitable for most small and medium-sized industrial enterprises. Imported brand 10m³/h nitrogen generators have superior precision and stability, but the procurement cost is 30%–50% higher than domestic products, with the overall price exceeding $15,000. In terms of configuration expansion, equipment equipped with integrated air compressors, automatic intelligent control systems, real-time purity monitoring devices, and remote fault alarm functions will increase the procurement cost by 15%–25% compared with basic models.
In addition, the total procurement cost also includes auxiliary expenses. The installation and commissioning fee for standard equipment is about 5%–8% of the equipment price. For special industrial scenarios such as dust-proof and explosion-proof workshops, customized transformation of equipment is required, which will further increase the cost. It is worth noting that high-cost high-purity and intelligent models can effectively reduce later operation and maintenance costs, so enterprises need to balance initial procurement investment and long-term operating benefits when purchasing.
