Automotive Parts Heat Treatment Nitrogen Generator

Automotive parts heat treatment nitrogen generator is a customized on-site inert gas production device developed specifically for high-standard metal heat treatment processes in the automotive manufacturing industry, adopting mature Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) air separation technology as the core working principle. The whole system takes ambient atmospheric air as raw material, which goes through multi-stage air filtration, refrigerated drying and oil-water removal modules to eliminate dust, moisture, oil vapor and impurity gases completely. After purified compressed air enters two parallel adsorption towers filled with high-performance carbon molecular sieve (CMS), oxygen, carbon dioxide and other impurity molecules are selectively adsorbed under preset working pressure, while nitrogen molecules pass through the sieve gap smoothly. The towers automatically switch adsorption and desorption cycles via PLC intelligent pneumatic valves to realize continuous, stable nitrogen output with adjustable purity ranging from 99.5% to 99.999%. This equipment is tailor-made for core automotive component processing scenarios, including crankshaft quenching, gear carburizing, fastener annealing, brake part bright heat treatment and chassis metal part tempering, which has become indispensable supporting equipment for standardized automotive metal processing workshops worldwide.

The core value of this dedicated nitrogen generator lies in solving common quality defects of automotive metal parts caused by oxygen invasion during high-temperature heat treatment. Traditional heat treatment relying on air atmosphere will cause surface oxidation, decarburization, black scale and color discoloration on steel, alloy and aluminum automotive parts, which not only damages surface finish but also weakens surface hardness, wear resistance and fatigue resistance of finished parts. High-purity nitrogen provided by this generator builds an oxygen-isolated inert protective atmosphere inside heat treatment furnaces, thoroughly avoiding chemical oxidation reaction between high-temperature metal and oxygen. For precision transmission gears and engine valve parts, nitrogen atmosphere maintains stable carbon molecular structure of alloy materials, ensures uniform overall hardness and precise dimensional tolerance, and reduces post-treatment polishing, grinding and repairing workload by more than 60%. Compared with purchased liquid nitrogen and nitrogen cylinder supply, on-site generation cuts comprehensive gas use cost by 70% to 80%, and eliminates risks of cylinder transportation, high-pressure storage and liquid gas leakage in factory workshops.

Structurally optimized for long-duration industrial operation, the automotive heat treatment nitrogen generator adapts 24-hour uninterrupted working mode of large-scale automotive component production lines. It is equipped with real-time nitrogen purity online monitoring system, automatic flow adjustment module and fault self-alarm system; once air pressure, gas purity or equipment operating parameters deviate from set values, the system will automatically adjust operating status or trigger early warning to guarantee zero-disruption heat treatment production. Its skid-mounted integrated design saves workshop floor space, and reserved interface supports docking with various mesh belt furnaces, sealed box furnaces and continuous heat treatment production lines. In addition, the low-loss molecular sieve material extends equipment service life up to 10 years, with simple daily maintenance only requiring regular replacement of filter elements. Meeting ISO automotive metal processing atmosphere standards, this generator is widely applied in new energy vehicle motor part heat treatment and traditional fuel vehicle chassis component manufacturing, adapting to upgraded material processing demands of modern automotive industry.
