A chemical industry nitrogen blanketing generator is a specialized on-site inert gas production device engineered to maintain stable positive-pressure nitrogen atmospheres inside chemical storage tanks, reaction kettles, pipeline headers and solvent silos, which serves as the core safety and quality guarantee equipment for fine chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and hazardous chemical production workshops. Unlike general-purpose nitrogen supply equipment, this generator adopts customized PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) dual-tower carbon molecular sieve separation technology matched with chemical explosion-proof standards, delivering adjustable nitrogen purity ranging from 95% to 99.99% to meet graded blanketing demands. Most flammable organic solvents, corrosive chemical raw materials, polymerization monomers and sensitive pharmaceutical intermediates are prone to oxidation deterioration, hydrolysis reaction or volatile gas explosion once contacting atmospheric oxygen, moisture and dust. The nitrogen blanketing system forms a continuous low-oxygen inert gas layer above the liquid material surface, isolating external air intrusion and eliminating combustion-supporting oxygen inside confined containers, which complies with global chemical plant fire prevention specifications and raw material preservation standards.

The complete set of nitrogen blanketing generator integrates multi-stage air pretreatment modules, intelligent oxygen monitoring units, automatic pressure linkage control systems and explosion-proof electrical assemblies to adapt to harsh chemical workshop environments including high humidity, corrosive vapor and dust pollution. The front-end filtration system contains coalescing filters, activated carbon deoiling filters and refrigerated dryers, removing oil vapor, water droplets and particulate impurities from raw compressed air to avoid sieve poisoning and extend the service life of carbon molecular sieve up to 8-10 years. Its core intelligent linkage function is tailored for tank breathing volume changes: when chemical tanks discharge liquid materials or temperature rises to expand internal gas volume, the generator automatically reduces nitrogen output; when liquid feeding or ambient temperature drops, the system instantly supplements inert nitrogen to keep internal tank pressure within 0.02-0.05 MPa micro positive pressure, effectively preventing tank collapse or external air backflow without manual intervention.

Economically and operationally, on-site nitrogen blanketing generators replace traditional liquid nitrogen tanker supply and high-pressure nitrogen cylinder storage modes, cutting long-term gas procurement, transportation, cylinder inspection and manual handling costs by 35% to 60% annually for medium and large chemical enterprises. The equipment supports 24-hour uninterrupted continuous operation with low energy consumption, and is equipped with remote fault alarm, data recording and purity self-calibration functions to connect with factory centralized DCS control system. In addition, customized low-temperature anti-condensation and anti-corrosion shell options are available for outdoor tank area deployment, adapting to extreme seasonal temperature changes.
