Hollow Fiber Membrane Nitrogen Gas Generator

Hollow fiber membrane nitrogen gas generator is a maintenance-friendly physical gas separation device relying on selective gas permeation principle, designed for low and medium purity continuous nitrogen supply scenarios. Its core component is bundled polymeric hollow fiber membrane modules composed of tens of thousands of micron-level hollow polymer fibers, with dense selective separation layers attached to fiber inner walls. The separation logic differs completely from PSA adsorption technology: it depends on the difference in gas solubility and diffusion rate inside polymer membranes rather than molecular screening. Atmospheric compressed air after dedusting, dewatering and deoiling pretreatment enters the inner cavity of hollow fibers, and fast-permeation gases including oxygen, water vapor, carbon dioxide permeate outward through fiber tube walls and are vented directly, while slow-permeation nitrogen gathers inside fiber pipelines and is collected as finished product gas.

Structurally, hollow fiber membrane nitrogen generators adopt fully modular integrated design, consisting of air pretreatment unit, membrane separation assembly, pressure regulating valve and nitrogen online detection sensor. There are no movable adsorptive switching parts or easily worn pneumatic valves inside the whole machine, which greatly reduces mechanical failure rate. The equipment can start nitrogen output instantly after power-on, without tower switching delay or pressure stabilization waiting time, realizing 24-hour steady continuous gas supply. Operators adjust nitrogen purity simply by regulating intake flow and working pressure, with adjustable purity range from 92% to 99.5%. Membrane modules adopt epoxy resin sealing technology, featuring corrosion resistance, pressure resistance and adaptability to wide ambient temperature from -10to 55, suitable for outdoor and mobile working environments.

This membrane-type nitrogen generator has irreplaceable application strengths in special working conditions. It requires almost zero daily maintenance, no replacement of adsorbents or wearing parts within 5 to 7 years service cycle, and supports unattended automatic operation. It runs with ultra-low noise below 55dB, far quieter than PSA nitrogen equipment, fitting laboratory, medical and indoor food processing workshops. Besides, it has strong anti-vibration performance, applicable for mobile nitrogen supply on ships, cargo vehicles and field engineering stations. Limited by membrane material permeation performance, it cannot produce ultra-high purity nitrogen above 99.5%, so it is prioritized for tire inflation, pipeline purging, grain storage insect prevention, general packaging inert protection and small-scale aquaculture oxygen isolation scenarios, becoming a cost-effective alternative to low-grade bottled nitrogen.
