The fire protection nitrogen inerting generator system is a dedicated on-site inert gas production device developed for industrial fire prevention, explosion suppression, and pipeline anti-corrosion scenarios, adopting mature Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) carbon molecular sieve separation technology and membrane air separation dual optional processes. Different from traditional water spray fire extinguishing and chemical fire suppression systems, this core inerting system works by extracting purified nitrogen from ambient air, steadily lowering indoor or enclosed space oxygen concentration below the combustion threshold (generally 10% to 12% oxygen content) to cut off combustion chain reactions fundamentally. It supports adjustable nitrogen purity ranging from 95% to 99.99%, meeting graded inerting demands for ordinary warehouse fire prevention, petrochemical flammable liquid storage tank blanketing, electrical cabinet explosion-proof protection, and underground pipeline fire isolation. Equipped with oil-free air pretreatment modules, multi-stage precision filters and low-dew-point drying units, the output nitrogen contains no water, oil or particulate impurities, avoiding secondary corrosion to metal fire pipes, electrical components and storage equipment during long-term inerting operation.
This integrated fire inerting system features full-automatic intelligent linkage design compatible with fire alarm control panels, smoke sensors and oxygen monitoring probes. Once the system detects abnormal oxygen rise, flammable gas leakage or fire pre-warning signals, it will automatically boost nitrogen output flow and adjust operating pressure without manual intervention. Customized dual-tower adsorption structure realizes uninterrupted gas supply, eliminating fire protection blind spots caused by equipment switching downtime. Compared with bottled nitrogen and liquid nitrogen outsourcing supply modes, the on-site generation model cuts 70% of long-term gas procurement, transportation and storage costs, and removes safety risks of high-pressure gas cylinder stacking and liquid nitrogen low-temperature leakage on fire sites. The whole machine adopts explosion-proof electrical components, dustproof cabinet shell and wide-temperature adaptive design, stably operating in harsh environments with ambient temperature from -40℃ to 60℃, which is certified compliant with NFPA fire inerting standards and global industrial explosion-proof grade requirements.
Beyond fire suppression and explosion prevention, the nitrogen inerting generator system delivers additional long-term operational benefits for facility maintenance. Continuous nitrogen filling inside dry fire sprinkler pipes eradicates electrochemical rusting and microbiological corrosion triggered by oxygen and moisture, extending the service life of steel fire piping by more than twice and reducing annual pipeline maintenance, replacement and leakage repair costs. It is widely configured in oil depots, chemical plants, data server rooms, grain silos, ship cargo holds and lithium battery workshops. The system supports modular capacity expansion, allowing enterprises to upgrade gas output according to newly-built storage areas or workshop expansion plans without replacing the main unit.
