System Design of 50 Cubic Meter Large-Flow Industrial Nitrogen Generator


The 50 cubic meter large-flow industrial nitrogen generator is widely used in large-scale chemical industry, metallurgy, electronic manufacturing and food processing industries, and its system design needs to comprehensively consider gas production stability, nitrogen purity consistency, continuous operation reliability and energy-saving performance. Different from small and medium-sized nitrogen generating equipment, the large-flow system adopts a modular combined design, which realizes centralized air supply, hierarchical purification and intelligent control, and can meet the long-term uninterrupted nitrogen demand of industrial production lines. The overall design follows the principles of high efficiency, energy saving, stability and easy maintenance.

The air source pretreatment system is the foundation of the 50 cubic meter nitrogen generator design. The system is equipped with a matched large-flow screw air compressor, supporting high-efficiency refrigerated dryers and multi-stage precision filters to remove water, oil and dust in compressed air. The pretreatment design adopts a dual-channel standby mode, which can realize uninterrupted switching during equipment maintenance, avoiding production shutdown caused by air source failure. At the same time, a buffer air tank is configured to stabilize the air source pressure, eliminate air flow fluctuation, and ensure that the air input of the subsequent adsorption system is uniform and stable, which is crucial to maintain stable nitrogen output of 50 cubic meters per hour.

The core adsorption and control system is the key to system operation. The main body adopts a double-tower PSA adsorption structure with enlarged adsorption tower volume and high-density carbon molecular sieve filling to ensure sufficient oxygen-nitrogen separation space and meet large-flow gas production demand. The intelligent PLC centralized control system is adopted to automatically adjust adsorption pressure, switching time and gas production rate according to real-time gas consumption. In addition, the system is equipped with multiple protection functions such as overpressure protection, overload protection and low-purity alarm. The overall design also reserves expansion interfaces, which can be connected with subsequent nitrogen purification equipment to upgrade nitrogen purity, and realizes remote operation monitoring and fault self-diagnosis to reduce manual maintenance costs.
