Automatic Start-Stop Control Scheme for Industrial Nitrogen Generator System


The fully automatic start-stop control scheme for industrial nitrogen generator systems is an intelligent control solution optimized and upgraded for the operational efficiency, energy consumption control and unattended operation needs of industrial nitrogen equipment. Traditional industrial nitrogen generators mostly adopt manual start-stop or fixed-time operation modes, which are unable to adapt to the dynamic changes of gas consumption in industrial production processes. Problems such as idling operation during low gas consumption, delayed start during peak gas consumption and frequent manual parameter adjustment often occur, resulting in serious energy waste, shortened equipment service life and unstable gas supply pressure. This intelligent control scheme takes the actual gas demand of industrial production as the core, and realizes full-automatic intelligent operation of the nitrogen generator through the integration of PLC programmable controller, pressure sensor, flow monitor and frequency conversion regulation module.

The core logic of the automatic start-stop control scheme is based on real-time monitoring of pipeline gas pressure and gas flow. The system sets a reasonable pressure threshold range according to the production process parameters. When the pipeline gas pressure is higher than the upper limit of the set value, indicating that the on-site gas demand is low, the control system will automatically control the nitrogen generator to stop running or enter low-power standby mode, avoiding ineffective energy consumption caused by long-term idling of the equipment. When the pipeline pressure drops to the lower limit of the set value with the increase of production gas consumption, the system will automatically trigger the start program, complete equipment self-inspection, air compression, adsorption separation and nitrogen output in a short time, and quickly restore the stable supply of high-purity nitrogen to ensure that the production gas demand is met in real time.

This control scheme also integrates multiple intelligent protection functions, including overpressure protection, overcurrent protection, overload protection and fault self-diagnosis. During the automatic operation process, the system will conduct real-time self-inspection on the operating status of each component of the equipment. Once abnormal conditions such as pipeline blockage, component failure and parameter abnormality are detected, it will automatically stop the equipment for protection and send out remote fault alarm information to remind staff of maintenance. In addition, it supports remote data viewing and parameter adjustment, which can realize unattended 24-hour operation, greatly reduce manual operation costs, improve the intelligent operation level of industrial production lines, and is suitable for large-scale industrial production scenarios such as chemical industry, metallurgy, electronic manufacturing and mechanical processing.
