N2 Generator with Filter System
1. Product Overview
The N2 Generator with Filter System is an integrated complete set of equipment for nitrogen production and precision purification. It integrates a nitrogen generation unit, multi-stage filter module, voltage stabilization control module and intelligent control system. Based on pressure swing adsorption or membrane separation nitrogen generation principle, it directly takes compressed air as raw gas source to produce high-purity dry nitrogen on site. Getting rid of the traditional gas supply mode of bottled liquid nitrogen and liquid nitrogen storage tanks, the whole system realizes continuous self-supply of nitrogen. It is widely applicable to various scenarios including electronic manufacturing, laser processing, heat treatment, chemical protection, food preservation and laboratory testing.
Traditional nitrogen generators commonly suffer from excessive impurities in gas source, oil and moisture contained in output nitrogen, and particulate matter entering terminal pipelines. These problems easily lead to workpiece oxidation, component damage and fluctuations in production processes. Equipped with a dedicated graded filter system, this equipment processes intake air sequentially through coarse filtration, fine filtration, ultra-fine filtration, activated carbon oil removal and drying purification. It intercepts dust, liquid water, oil mist and organic volatile matters layer by layer, ensuring the cleanliness of output nitrogen from the source and steadily meeting strict standards of process gas consumption. Featuring compact structure and high automation, the equipment can operate stably for 24 hours continuously and greatly cut enterprises’ long-term gas consumption costs.
2. Core Structure & Working Principle
The whole equipment consists of two core sections: N2 generation main unit and multi-stage filtration & purification system. Compressed air first enters the pre-treatment unit to separate large particulate impurities and condensed water preliminarily. Then it is delivered to the N2 generation unit, where nitrogen and oxygen in the air are separated via physical separation to produce crude nitrogen. The crude nitrogen flows into the series-connected graded filter system. The first stage removes solid dust and liquid water droplets; the second stage captures aerosol water vapor and oil droplets; the third-stage ultra-precision filter element intercepts ultra-fine oil mist particles; the post-positioned activated carbon filter module adsorbs residual hydrocarbons, and the terminal drying unit further reduces dew point. The purified high-purity nitrogen is delivered to gas consumption points through pressure stabilizing valves and pressure sensors.
The built-in intelligent electronic control unit monitors intake pressure, nitrogen purity, output flow and pipeline dew point data in real time. It will send automatic alarms once parameters deviate from set thresholds, and supports filter replacement reminder and automatic shutdown protection against faults. All filter components adopt modular quick-disassembly design. Filter elements can be replaced without professional tools, enabling simple daily maintenance.

5. Operation Notes
The equipment shall be equipped with a stable and clean front-end compressed air source. Drain condensed water from filters regularly and replace filter elements at all levels according to operation duration. Keep the working environment ventilated and dry to avoid accumulation of dust and corrosive gas. Calibrate the nitrogen purity detector periodically to ensure output gas continuously meets process requirements. Reasonably plan pipeline length to reduce pressure loss and maximize the efficiency of the whole N2 generation and filter system. Long-term standardized operation and maintenance can continuously output qualified nitrogen, help enterprises stabilize process quality and reduce defective products.
